About Digital Salon
The Digital Salon is an online collection of new media projects by UW-Madison undergraduate and graduate students showcasing artistic and research-based projects that take digital form or rely heavily on digital technology in the production process.
Submission Process
The 18th Annual Digital Salon is now accepting submissions from UW-Madison graduate and undergraduate students. The final deadline for acceptance will be Monday, March 15th, 2027. Please submit your work for review online. The Digital Salon Showcase Exhibition will be on display in Open Book, Room 1250, at College Library starting in late April 2027.
In order to be considered for acceptance in the online collection, students need to fill out and submit an online submission form.
Copyright Statement
Copyright for the compilation, electronic format, and descriptive material for the Digital Salon exhibit is retained by the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents. Copyrights for individual items in the exhibit are retained by the individual artists. It is the artist’s obligation, prior to use, publication or distribution, to determine and satisfy copyright requirements, or other use restrictions, from the owners of the rights.
