Poster for 8th Annual Bernstein Book Arts Lecture by Richard Ellis

MEDIUM: Poster, Flier, Digital Imagery DESCRIPTION: This poster features an image of a double-page spread from an artist book by Clifton Meador titled ‘Dead Life’ (2021). The color scheme of the text and textboxes were sampled directly from the colors in the image and the font was selected based on the overall mood of the individual artwork and broader exhibition. ARTIST’S STATEMENT: This poster was created to advertise a guest lecture by a visiting artist whose Artists’ Books were on view at the Kohler Art Library. As a Graduate Student Supervisor & Special Collections Project Assistant, I frequently act as an in-house graphic designer for our print and social media promotions.
