Automoles by Tarin Phippen & Noah Stephenson

TEAM: Tarin Phippen – Programming, UI, Audio, Design Noah Stephenson – Artist, Design MEDIUM: Game, Software Application DESCRIPTION: Automoles is an auto-battler with puzzles focused on simulated turn-based combat. It has quirky characters, referential humor with awful puns, and an eye-catching cartoon art style. In contrast, the problem-solving component is quite in-depth. It was released on Steam in February 2026. ARTIST’S STATEMENT: (from Tarin) I’ve loved developing video games since I was in middle school in the Madison area. In high school, I played a minigame in a comedy RPG that I just had to expand on. I teamed up with my artist friend from the Madison area, and Automoles was born, an indie passion project that we ended up publishing ourselves.
