DESCRIPTION:
My composition, snoesaes, utilizes the Processing language and a song titled “Japanese Garden” by Sight of Wonders to create a short illustrative video demonstrating the sound interaction between the generative drawings and the music.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT:
Deep breath in. Deep breath out. Breathe. snosaes is a generative drawing that places emphasis on the mindset of focusing on the cycles of life and reaching goals. Remembering that things come and go but savoring the beauty of what comes is the display snosaes tries to represent. Through the cycles of drawings it pulls representing seasons, the work describes beautiful scenes that come and go as with life.
