The previous iteration of the ALA-SC website was quite dated and the HTML was broken in a number of places. Unlike many modern websites, this one is entirely hand-coded and has no CMS back-end. Starting from a blank slate, I redesigned the website to be functional, responsive, and aesthetically pleasing. Employing the Bootstrap framework helped make the responsive design easier and also provided some of the look and feel of the website. As part of this project, I also rethought the architecture of the website and simplified the structure.
