DESCRIPTION:
I like to call this series a collaboration. I use found text, which I take photographs of and then extract from the photographs and place them into photographs of my own. I do not alter the text in any way besides scale. I think of it as a collaboration between me and the students of Madison who leave words behind to be read. I enjoy decontextualizing their words to bring a whole new meaning and life to them.
