MEDIUM: Digital Collage
This piece is a statement on manufacturing overseas and greed that comprises our society. The background is taken from a scene in China and the dollar bill with the lipstick crown is a play on our commodity culture. Most everything we do revolves around money so the pyrite in the middle of the collage is representative of being fooled by our desires that we attain. Once we posses what we think will make us happy we still feel a sense of discontent thus we perpetually yearn for more.
