MEDIUM: Digital Imagery
In my recent work I’ve been interested in investigating ways that humans interact with mediating technologies. Specifically, I’m in interested in technology that can change the ways in which people interact with one another. In the sculptural series I’ve called Information Study #6: Emails from Laurel I’ve created a system that transforms one piece of information into another, radically different form of information. In this case, I’ve taken all of the emails sent to me from my wife during the first two weeks of our relationship and translated them into a series of physical objects: eighteen object from eighteen emails.
