MEDIUM: Digital Collage
DESCRIPTION:
A set of three digital collages, each meant to inspire a larger project and to convey a given set of words abstractly.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT:
This set of three works was created as the basis for the design on an interior, but quickly became something of their own. Each piece is composed of a variety of architectural and non-architectural elements which fuse the built and natural environments, juxtaposing and a harmonizing the two. Each has a different base set of words which were given to the class to portray. The water collage is balanced and calm, the lake collage is invigorating, and the bear collage is warm, cozy, and secure.
