Disco Inferno by Rachina Ahuja

COURSE: Art 529: 3D Digital Studio II MEDIUM: Video Animation DESCRIPTION: Disco Inferno is a 3D animation, made using Maya and After Effects, about a robot named Tony who wants to be able to dance. He sees a poster for a robotic upgrade that will give him the ability to dance and fantasizes about how his life would change. The objective was just to have some fun with animating a dance sequence and to create a humorous narrative that people can hopefully connect with and enjoy. The robot’s dance moves are inspired by John Travolta in the movie Saturday Night Fever. https://youtu.be/mUeS_9kd654
