MEDIUM: Digital Photography
ARTIST STATEMENT:
I believe that anyone can create art, and art is accessible to anyone. They do not need to rely on expensive art supplies or software. It is a matter of taking action. The art pieces do not necessarily have to look aesthetically pleasing. Neither do the art pieces need to have meaning behind them. I believe that art can benefit anyone in some way, in whichever way they choose to create it. Personally, most of my works have some intention and meaning behind them. I had the intention to make these pieces for a friend.
DESCRIPTION:
These two pieces have been composed using random construction tools. The tools are found objects from a construction site. They are being arranged into a letter and then form a word (name). These pieces were photographed with an iPhone and edited using an iPhone application. The editing process includes adjusting the brightness, cropping the photo, adding a vignette, a blur, and a filter.
