My team and I read Ten Little Indians by Sherman Alexie. We decided to make a poster together, pulling quotes from the book that had anything to do with “identity, and conformity” which are two of the theme topics in the class. All the characters in the book struggled with their Native identity as they are constantly being pulled to conformity by the mainstream “American” culture.
