DESCRIPTION:
Photograph I captured that resembled a woman in rising into the yoga pose, Vrksasana.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT:
Without the leaves covering the tree, it may look bare and under-appreciated to most passing by it. I love looking at leafless trees and the patterns of the limbs and branches. The truest essence stands out when you see the core of them, just as is true with people. I am also fascinated with the similarity of patterns that occur in nature and the human body, like those of the nervous system and tree branches and roots.
