I am admittedly a novice blogger. However, donning my “education” hat, I’m putting into practice some of what I’ve learned during my graduate coursework in the School of Education. “Meeting reflections” is my endeavor to integrate good reflective thinking practice with my kinesthetic learning style, while modeling the behavior of engaging with technology and capturing the essence of the happenings at meetings where I represent the student voice. Undoubtedly my writing style and behavior is shaped by my 17 years of experience within the news industry; I am diligent about fact checking and committed to making what I write something which engages my audience. I am always excited to see the traffic on my blog, especially when it gets tweeted or shared beyond the site.
