MEDIUM: Digital Illustration, 3D Rendering
DESCRIPTION:
The original sticker illustration was designed by chisorichan (Instagram) and I modified it with additional features to recreate it into a 3D diorama.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT:
When I originally saw this design, the original concept and the complexity of this illustration urged me to challenge my skills in a 3D space so I went for it. Creating a piece with different contrasting materials, adding features beyond those illustrated, as well as curating my own color palette started to make this 3D concept become a little more like my own piece while still acknowledging the artist that gave me the visual concept to bring to life.
