This was a project for American Indian Studies 450. The object was to address an issue of race from two different perspectives. The author chose to focus on life-changing events in her life that spoke to racism, stereotypes, prejudice and fear. The journal contains family photographs of her parents, grandparents, and daughter. The author created the background photographs, which reflect aspects of her culture and connection to the world.
